Amazing and delicious food. The prime rib and paella was so good. Our waitress Heather was great I'm definitely going again to try different foods.
Great family restaurant! Our waitress Sandi was absolutely phenomenal. We had a large party in an area we reserved and she kept up with us all. Food came out quickly and she always made sure our cups were filled. They also accommodated us with the cake we brought in and they served it out on plates for us. Definitely recommend this place.
Really good food, huge portions, been many times and have yet to have a bad meal. Prime Rib yum, short ribs yum yum, the best carrots i have ever had. My husband loves the seafood rice. Tonight’s dinner, chicken parmigiana with penne, fish and chips, substituted the chips for the seafood rice. Best chicken parm i have ever had. Bread served with some kind of garlic dipping sauce that is out of this world. Reasonable prices, great drinks, excellent waitstaff. Recommend to make reservations.
Our first visit to this restaurant was a success! Many locals all greeting each other and the staff, made for a very friendly atmosphere. Service was quick, they offer pick-up/take-out and the foods were delicious. We were quite surprised by all the options available. Definitely something to please EVERYONE! My husband got the Baked Scrod Boat - it was huge and very good. I got the New York Sirloin Steak and as advertised it was "grilled to perfection". We look forward to going back and sampling more dishes.
Absolutely amazing food!!! Service is outstanding The best Portuguese food in the area. The Paiella is a great dish. The Portuguese Steak and the Shrimp Mozambique is the best I ever had. The seafood rice is absolutely legendary. Probably every dish you order you won't be disappointed. Even the rolls are amazing.
1st off, walking into this restaurant the smell was out of this world!! You know the second that door opens that the food is going to be incredible! We had no wait, we were shown right to a table. The restaurant was decently full. Waitress was over immediately to take our orders. We both got the Alive margarita which came out in a pint glass and was delicious! We started with the stuffed mushrooms and I got a stuffie. Both were delicious! For mains I got the Shrimp Zuppa and my love got the Bife A Portuguesea. Both were incredible!! Service was some of the best ever and the food.. well go find out!! You're going to be glad you did! This has been on our list of places to try for quite some time. I'm so glad we finally made the trip!! We have leftovers for a whole other meal too! We will be back!!
You're not going to find a better restaurant like this around here. They don't really advertise it, but they excel in seafood. Where else can you get prime rib, steamers, lobster, escargot, snail salad, cacoila, espresso and flan... *Everyday*?
I've recently come across this restaurant, never knowing it was close to my house, located close to the Seekonk/ Rehoboth line on route 44. They have such high quality food and service. That being said, the service was phenomenal with both Jim and Kim behind the bar. They could not do enough to make sure that we... My son and I had enough food enough drink. And by the way, the drinks are very well put together and you're going to get your share of alcohol and each drink be prepared for a strong pour. ie A powerful drink. I found the food which has a Portuguese flare to it, but there other different styles of food. I think they have many choices for fish and meat dishes, I saw the daily scrod I believe it's called the boat a special meal with has scallops and shrimp with Ritz cracker and butter on top . Very impressively large plate and inexpensive as well. I still can't believe how much food you get for the low cost! Many of the dishes cannot be finished and prepare to take home some food. They're baked stuff Lobster was phenomenal. My friend had the swordfish which she could not finish. It was almost as big as a plate and then you have the w side as well . The Portuguese cuisine is above par for most Portuguese restaurants. As a matter of fact, probably the best I've ever had in the most amount of food that I have seen again for the price. If you're in the area, I highly recommend going here with a family or a friend. The owner is from the old Joseph's restaurant which was an icon in East Providence for several years. He's had a couple of other ventures and now he is in Massachusetts. Have a great dining experience. TC
